The team RRR might have had their best moment when Naatu Naatu emerged as a winner at the prestigious Golden Globe Awards this year. Each one of them shared their experiences at Golden Globe Awards and expressed their happiness about the same. The two leads of the film, Ram Charan and NTR spoke many things about RRR and their team during an interview with the super popular Variety magazine.
When funnily asked who would fight longer with the tiger if they had to fight really, NTR was quick to say that they both will run away quickly from there. Also when asked on who would win in the real Naatu Naatu dance battle, Charan said he would have upper hand in endurance while Tarak will get the step right. NTR and Charan later shared many interesting things about their bonding and the incidents during the film’s shoot.
NTR said it brings great happiness to be a part of the Golden Globe Awards. Usually, Tarak visits the USA with the family for a vacation, but he revealed it is special to visit the country for the awards event this time. He said it is really a proud moment to receive such a big welcome here.
Ram Charan said he still could not believe that he is in a Los Angeles studio. He said that the world is becoming one when it comes to cinema. Charan also said there is no language barrier when it comes to cinema and the people are very welcoming.
Charan while speaking about the climax fight sequence, praised NTR for his effort. The shoot went on for 15 days and NTR had to carry him on his shoulders for that fight. Charan describes that climax action sequence as one of the toughest ones for both of them. Speaking about the bridge sequence, NTR said that was shot in 2018. The sequence of saving the child started on the third day and went on for 12 days.
NTR said they had to be fit for the whole time as they had to maintain their body shape for many months. NTR said his diet had to have a 3000-calorie increase and at the time he took seven meals in a day. Tarak had to work for 17 months to get that look.
Tarak too revealed a bit about Charan saying Charan is like water and he would compare Charan to a sea. ‘We would know more about Charan when we get deep into him and get that bond,’ said Tarak.
