Apparently the story that was rejected by Superstar Ram Charan has gone to viral star Vijay Devarakonda, and the unit has finally announced it with a concept poster too.
Director Gowtham Tinnanuri who was supposed to direct Charan has now gone to Vijay, and their film got announced other day. Here’s an interesting talk now.
While Ram Charan thought of doing Gowtham’s movie for a long time, after the massive success of RRR he rejected the story and asked the director to move on.
Many thought that the mega hero has scraped that film because he wants big directors and big projects now. But it looks like, Charan doesn’t want to appear as a police again as he was seen as an Inspector of the Imperial Police during British era India in Rajamouli’s RRR.
It is coming out that even Gowtham’s with Vijay has that vintage touch and that is the reason Charan wants to not do it as RRR was also set in a vintage timeline only.
Anyway, now that Vijay D has picked up the movie and announced it as well, many are wondering to see if Charan missed out a good movie in the first place. Only time has the answer anyway.
