Mythri Movie Makers is one of the popular production houses in Telugu. They ventured into film production with Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu and delivered multiple blockbusters with the stars of Tollywood. In no time, Mythri emerged as the most consistent production house to deliver content-oriented films, keeping in view of the importance of commercial success. This Sankranthi, they released Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy. Both films became big hits.
Dil Raju, who competed with the production house this Sankranthi with Vaarasudu failed to show his dominance. Mythri also began their own distribution house in Nizam to up their game. The way they are building strategies is extremely impressive.
What’s surprising is Mythri’s moves in other film industries as well. Despite having a reasonable number of films under production in Telugu, Mythri is also eyeing a stronghold in the Malayalam film industry. The production house teamed up with Tovino Thomas, who enjoys a big fan base in Malayalam.
The film in their combination is titled Nadikar Tilakam. People gave it a tag to Sivaji Ganeshan, and the Tamil version of Mahanati was released with the same title. Interestingly, the Malayalam film is going to be intense, unique, and bold. Lal Jr of Driving License fame is the film’s director.
The film’s first look features Tovino as Christ, crucified but submerged under water. It raises curiosity instantly and hikes expectations around the film.
Already Mythri has films like Pushpa: The Rule on their kitty, bringing nationwide recognition. But, the production house also ensures quality films in regional industries.
Hope they taste victories in Malayalam as well.
