Waltair Veerayya, Veera Simha Reddy, Vaarasudu and Tegimpu clased at the box office during this Sankranthi. However, among the four releases, it is Waltair Veerayya that stood out as the Sankranthi winner with an unanimous response from the criticism, audiences, movie lovers and fans. The best part is that the film is registering housefulls even today.
Usually, a film does well during the festive weekend but even at the end of the first week, the movie is performing exceptionally well at the box office. After doing well on last Monday (On Kanuma holiday), there was a slight decline in the film’s box office figures during the weekdays.
But, during the current weekend, the film picked up pace in terms of generative revenues. Almost, in all the areas, especially in the regions of Uttarandhra, and Godavari districts, the film is unstoppable. The shows have been sold out, and the tickets are genuinely not available for the first and second shows of Sunday.
The film did well yesterday (on Saturday), and the family audiences are coming to the theatre today. A lot of fans are watching the film second time, having been impressed with Chiranjeevi’s style, swag, body language, comic timing, and his fights.
The film crossed the break-even mark in all the areas where the film was released. Directed by KS Ravindra, Waltair Veerayya is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.
