After refusing to come down at the box office even during the weekdays after the Sankranthi holidays, Waltair Veerayya is said to be looking to post a mammoth figure on Republic Day as well.
At the same time, Veera Simha Reddy is also doing a bit in B&C centres. And here is a talk that is going on about the collections of these films.
While Chiranjeevi’s movie posted ₹200+ crores gross already, Balayya’s film is also doing quite well. Some analysts feel that this collection is made possible only because of Prabhas’ move.
If the teaser of Adipurush received a proper response back then, then that epic film would have been released across the nation on Sankranthi eve only.
That means even the Telugu box office would have struggled to adjust theatres for these two other biggies. In that case, even if one of Chiru and Balayya’s films dropped from the race, the remaining one would have faced huge competition from Prabhas’ movie.
