AR Rahman, a two-time Academy Award-winning composer, has commented on the nomination of the song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from the film RRR in the Best Original Song category at the Oscars 2023.
He said that he thought Indian films should have been recognized at international awards a decade ago, and that it is 12 years late for this to happen. He also stated that there is amazing talent in every aspect of filmmaking in India and that most films don’t enter the competition.
However, one of the netizens yesterday commented that the Tamil community shower love on the Telugu people but the Telugu community is always jealous of Tamilians. In the context of Rahman hoping RRR wins an Oscar, the netizen made this comment.
AR Rahman immediately responded to the tweet which is currently winning the hearts. “We are all one family. we could have misunderstandings …but we should stand for each other.” tweeted AR Rahman.
