In one of those puzzling acts, a superstar’s movie is releasing on February 9th and the OTT premieres are all set for the very next day.
Siva RajKumar’s Vedha – The Brutal 1960s movie is being extensively promoted for its theatrical release in Telugu. The movie is gearing up for release on February 9th and the team is hosting a pre-release event on February 7th with Nandamuri Balakrishna as the chief guest at the event.
The Telugu version is releasing on Feb 9th, while the Kannada version was released on December 22 last year. But what’s confusing here is why the team is so particular in promoting the Telugu release in such a grand way when the OTT version will be available the next day.
Some opine that it is inevitable for the makers to stop the OTT release as it was already 50 days from the original theatrical release. Apart from that, this seems to be a drill for the next movie of Siva Rajkumar, The Ghost which seems to be a pan-India movie. Like all other star actors from other languages are setting their ground in Telugu states, Siva Rajkumar is also doing his best to build his market here.
Let us see if Siva Rajkumar’s Vedha makes some noise with Telugu theatrical release.
