Regina Cassandra who is going through lean phase is pinning many hopes on her upcoming Telugu-Tamil bilingual film Nene Naa which is directed by Caarthick Raju who made a successful debut as a director with Ninu Veedani Needanu Nene.
The movie is in safe hands now with a leading production and distribution company obtaining the theatrical and non-theatrical rights of it. SP Cinemas bought the movie by shelling out a fancy price and they will kick-start the promotions soon.
Produced by Raj Shekar Varma under Apple Tree Studios, Nena Naa is a fantasy-adventure thriller set against the backdrops of two different periods – the 1920s and current times. Regina will be seen as an archaeologist in the movie.
The theatrical trailer created inquisitiveness on the movie scheduled for its theatrical release in the summer.
