Akshay Kumar, one of Bollywood’s leading actors, has taken responsibility for the failure of his recent films at the box office. Speaking during the promotions of his latest film ‘Selfiee’, which has opened with dismal figures, Akshay Kumar said that if a film does not work, it is the actor’s fault, and it is time for him to sit back, reflect, and change.

Akshay Kumar, who has had a long career in the industry, recalled that he had gone through a similar phase earlier in his career when he had 16 consecutive flops. He added that there was a time when he had eight films in a row that did not work. He acknowledged that it happens due to an actor’s own fault, and the audience’s tastes and preferences keep changing. Therefore, actors need to dismantle themselves and start afresh to meet the changing demands of the audience.

Akshay Kumaralso emphasized that blaming the audience for a film’s failure is not appropriate, and actors should take responsibility for their choices. He stated that if a film does not work, it is not because of the audience, but because of the wrong ingredients selected for the film. Akshay Kumar said that he is trying to change and do what he can to improve his performance in films.

Akshay Kumar’s latest film, ‘Selfiee,’ has opened with disappointing numbers, raising questions about his box-office prowess.
