Finally, one of those most trolled films in recent times, The Legend, made its way into Disney+Hotstar last Friday. And then, the makers of the movie started promoting it heavily, saying that the film has just crashed all the records on the OTT platforms by becoming the top-viewed film in the first few hours.
The most surprising thing is that the whole of Tamil PR machinery started tweeting about “The Legend”, which features Saravana store owner Saravana in the lead, and crafted with a budget of more than ₹80 crores. They said that the film is a highly watched movie on the OTT platform. However, the shocking aspect of this whole promotion is that Disney+Hotstar hasn’t even put a single tweet on the movie.
Knowing this, film critic Kamal R Khan tweeted, “Unfortunately #Hotstar was crashed for 6 hours on 3rd march because world’s biggest blockbuster Tamil film #TheLegend was streaming!🤪😁”, on Sunday evening, kicking a hornet’s nest. Tamil fans are now upset that KRK whose films like Desidrohi are ultra-flops is talking about ’The Legend’.
