Bheed Trailer: A Scary Memoir Of Covid Lockdown

Published by

The first lockdown (in 2020) of Covid-19 brought the entire country to a standstill. States have closed their borders, transportation came to a halt and it looked like an atmosphere of a country’s partition. Migrant labourers went on foot to their native homes crossing many states and in the course, many died.

Summing up all these horrific events, director Anubhav Sinha is coming up with the film titled ‘Bheed.’ Starring Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar, the trailer is unveiled and it shows us the scary memoir of Covid lockdown.

People who hit the roads were stopped by police at borders and there were incidents of water cannons being used against them. The lockdown also invoked unwanted religious hatred. Amidst all this one man tried to do something seeing the suffering of the common man and he is a cop.

‘Bheed’ is inspired by invisible true events and trailer shows close to reality visuals. Rajkummar Rao picked an author backed role and he delivers what he is best at. The way we see cops as tough persons is missing in this trailer and Rajkummar Rao plays an emotional man who can shed tears seeing the plight of the poor.

The film is releasing on March 24th which marks three years of lockdown.
