I regret not producing Arjun Reddy: Swapna Dutt

Arjun Reddy is one film in recent times which got an immense cult following among audiences. It also made Vijay Deverakonda and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga overnight stars. The film was produced by Sandeep’s brother under their home banner Bhadrakali Pictures.

Sandeep approached popular producer Swapna Dutt with this film first. Though she liked the story, Swapna didn’t dare to produce the film. Now, she regrets the decision.

Recently, she said that she regrets the decision of dropping Arjun Reddy. “I thought if the film flops, people would say why a woman produced a movie like this one. Coming to Pelli Choopulu, I couldn’t gauge the movie”.

Meanwhile, Swapna said that she is happy with the way her career has progressed until now. She said that failures taught her a lot and made the taste of success even better. “The main reason behind our successful comeback is the audience. We will always remain indebted to them,” said Swapna.
