Naga Chaitanya and Venkat Prabhu joined forces for the first time for an action thriller Custody that stars Krithi Shetty playing the leading lady and Arvind Swami as the antagonist. The makers today released the teaser of the movie.
A wounded heart can push a man to any extent. He is ready to take on anybody and is not worried about his death. This is all about Naga Chaitanya’s character as a police constable. He is very truthful and no matter what he never chooses the wrong path. He stumbles upon some powerful people in life who bring him all the trouble. But he decides to go against them, rather than changing his path. His rage knows no bounds.
Other than the face-off of the good and bad, the teaser also shows the love track of the lead pair- Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty. The story seems to span for years, as we can see transformation in Naga Chaitanya’s look. He gave a nuanced performance. Krithi looked cute opposite him. Arvind Swami looked cruel as a bad man.
Venkat Prabhu showed his expertise in writing and taking. The narrative is completely different and the way he presented every character is just brilliant. Abburi Ravi’s dialogues bring intensity to the narrative. SR Kathir’s cinematography is notable, whereas Ilayaraja and Yuvan Shankar Raja’s BGM is a big asset. The film is produced on a grand scale by Srinivasa Chitturi under the banner of Srinivasa Silver Screen and the production design is top-notch.
The teaser takes the expectations to a different level altogether for its performances and technical brilliance. The movie is set for release on May 12th as a summer special.
