Prabhas and Ram Charan are two actors who enjoy pan-India stardom. What if they collide at the box office at the same time? If the ongoing rumours are anything to go by, we may witness this massive war during Sankranthi next year.
Prabhas is currently working on Project K under the direction of Nag Ashwin. Deepika Padukone plays the female lead in it. Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani are essaying pivotal roles. Recently, the makers announced this sci-fi action drama will hit the screens on January 12, 2024, during the Pongal festive weekend.
On the other side, Ram Charan is currently shooting RC 15 under the direction of Shankar. Apparently, the film’s producer Dil Raju is planning to release it on January 10, 2024, to take advantage of the festive season. He amassed huge money with Varisu during this year’s Sankranthi. He wants to repeat the same feat with RC 15 next year.
Releasing two pan-India films at the same time is a risky task in terms of business. So, we have to see if anyone backs out from the race or decides to lock horns with each other.
