Music composer MM Keeravani won an Oscar for Naatu Naatu from RRR. He, along with the song’s lyricist Chandrabose, received the Academy Award a few days ago. The entire country is celebrating this incredible success. Meanwhile, Keeravani and director Rajamouli’s family are on top of the world right now.
Keeravani’s father and popular writer, Shiva Shakti Datta, is also elated by this success. He is proud of his son’s achievement. At the same time, he stated that he doesn’t like Naatu Naatu.
Speaking in a recent interview, Shiva Shakti Datta said that Keeravani is his heart and soul. “I made him learn music when he was just three years old. I always feel surprised by his incredible talent. But I didn’t like Naatu Naatu in RRR. Is that even a song? Where is the music in it? Destiny is so unpredictable. This song gave recognition to Keeravani’s talent. However, it is not a better song than 5000 songs written by Chandrabose and doesn’t feature the career-best music by Keeravani,” he stated.
“But I have to appreciate Prem Rakshit’s incredible choreography. Even Ram Charan and Jr NTR did complete justice to that song. Their efforts also played a major role in this song’s success,” Shiva Shakti Dutta further added.
