Hoping that Bollywood will change her fortunes forever, ‘national crush’ Rashmika Mandanna hasn’t signed any Telugu movie in recent times apart from the “Pushpa” sequel which she’s been part of long back. However, with all of her Bollywood ventures including music videos and films, failing big time to woo the audience, looks like the actress is quick to change her game.
Sometimes a success with a debut film makes a few heroines superstars and that happened with the likes of Samantha, Rashmika, Kriti Shetty and others. However, in Bollywood, one needs to have lots of contacts for films to come as success and failure or stardom in the south doesn’t matter there. Though Rashmika has Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal in hand, she is short off films in the Telugu industry, the place that gave her the big break. All the big stars have opted for many other heroines, thus leaving her in a confusion. Without any delay, now Rahsmika has signed her next with director Venky Kudumula and Nithin, the combo that worked together on Bheeshma. Earlier she made her Telugu debut with Venky’s Chalo only.
Many southern stars who didn’t keep Telugu films in their hands while trying to make it big in Bollywood have ended up like Ileana, while the ones like Kajal and Tamanna always made sure to do a couple of Telugu films a year, and that helped them sail a little longer in the tinsel town than their contemporaries.
