Finally, it is officially confirmed that Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film is missing out on the August 11th date, and going for Sankranthi 2024 date, as they have officially confirmed that #SSMB28 is hitting cinemas on January 13th 2023. While this is exciting news, the big thing is that this will be a triangular clash at the box office that is going to stun the Telugu audience big time.
Already in 2023, when the likes of Megastar’s Waltair Veerayya, Balayya’s Veera Simha Reddy and Vijay’s Varasudu released around the same time, people in the industry cried while people in the film business expressed their disappointment. And now, 2024 Sankranthi is going to be a clash of the titans as none other than the three big superstars including Prabhas, Mahesh and Ram Charan are clashing at the box office.
The makers of Prabhas’ Project-K have earlier confirmed that the film is hitting cinemas on January 12th, while Dil Raju is moving Ram Charan’s #RC15 to the same date for a long time. If this clash is not enough, now #SSMB28 is set for January 13th release, thus sparking tension among the distributors and others.
No doubt, if all the films have better content inside, then all the films are likely to benefit like how we have seen Chiru and Balayya making crores at the box office even with routine content. And among the 2024 releases, Prabhas and Charan are likely to see a big Pan-India release, while the planning of #SSMB28 is yet unknown.
