We have seen the hullabaloo around the usage of “Global Star” for Ram Charan, and it all started with Hollywood Critics Association using it. Since then, even Telugu producers and filmmakers have started to call him a Global Star only. But it looks like the Mega Powerstar is not much interested in it.
Today (Mar 27) on the eve of the RRR actor’s birthday, the makers of #RC15 have released the title motion poster of the movie, saying that the film got titled “Game Changer”. While the release has excited fans, they are surprised to see that producer Dil Raju has used the title “Mega Powerstar” for Ram Charan, but not “Global Star”. Many are wondering if they have forgotten to use the new tag, but it is coming out that the star hero isn’t interested in it.
Apparently, Charan is said to have asked Dil Raju to not use the Global Star tag as that tag will not be credible unless he delivers two more global hits. If his “Game Changer” and the next film also click well in the West, then the actor could call himself a Global Star, is what he felt. For that reason, Dil Raju is said to have changed the title to Mega PowerStar only, though they have kept Global Star initially as a prefix to the hero’s name.
