AR Rahman is one of the top-most music composers in India. This Oscar-winning composer delivered many super-hit albums in Tamil and Hindi. In his illustrious career, Rahman rarely worked in Telugu cinema. He composed music for Telugu films like Super Police, Nani, Ye Maya Chesave, Komaram Puli, and Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo. If the ongoing buzz is anything to go by, he is set to return to Telugu cinema after a gap of seven years to mark his second innings.
According to the latest reports, Rahman will compose the music for Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s upcoming film, which Buchi Babu Sana will direct. Apparently, the makers held talks with Rahman. An official announcement is yet to be made though.
Even though this is big news, Rahman’s recent track record hasn’t been satisfactory. He is not able to deliver chartbusters regularly like the way he used to give before. Especially in Telugu, none of his recent songs managed to create an impact.
So, we have to see how this combination works out. This untitled project of Ram Charan is expected to hit the floors later this year or early next year.
