Indian actor Madhur Mittal who is widely recognized for his role in the Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire is playing Muttiah Muralitharan. MS Sripathy who penned the script is also directing the movie, while Movie Train Motion Pictures and Vivek Rangachari together are bankrolling it.
Muralitharan turns 51 today. On the special occasion, the makers of 800 have come up with the film’s first-look poster. There is always a smile on the face of Muralitharan and we can see the smile on the face of Madhur Mittal in the first-look poster. With a French beard and sharp look, Mittal got Muralitharan’s look right.
The film is an inspiring story of a common man standing against all odds who became a legend through his grit and determination. The makers are planning to release 800 in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages.
