That’s How ‘Taggedhe Le’ Move Got Created

Ganesh Acharya has established an impressive reputation for creating mesmerizing dance sequences in the world of Bollywood and Tollywood. His incredible choreography can be seen across films from Allu Arjun’s DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham to Pushpa: The Rise and KGF.

In a recent interview, Ganesh Acharya revealed how he came up with the popular ‘Thaggedhe Le’ choreography for Allu Arjun. He shared: “When I’m out and about travelling in my car, I take time to observe people and use that as inspiration. I noticed a group of people who had quite a rugged appearance and one person was playing with his beard – which formed the basis for this iconic dance routine.”

Later on director Sukumar was impressed with his opinion on the movements that were demonstrated. First they are said to have used the movement for a song, and then they have incorporated into the whole movie. The rest is history as we all know that the ‘Taggede Le’ action was a superhit across the globe as cricketers and film superstars performed it many times.
