Rahmmika Mandana has made an international impression with her captivating performance in Pushpa: The Rise. Following this success, she was part of two films that did not find success at the box office – Goodbye and Mission Majnu. Despite these misfortunes, she finds another one.
Rashmika Mandanna and Vicky Kaushal are teaming up for a period drama titled Chhava, which will be produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films. Vicky is set to play the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son of the Maratha empire founder and great warrior king, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Production has been in full swing and Rashmika will reportedly receive voice coaching to help her accurately portray her historical character. The two have previously worked together on an underwear commercial.
This role affords her ample opportunity to showcase her acting ability. With success, she could make a major mark in the Bollywood film industry, but a third consecutive flop would be an obstacle for her. However, she still has another chance in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s forthcoming film Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor, which many believe will not fail at the box office. She is currently shooting Pushpa 2: The Rule at Hyderabad Ramoji Film City.
