Malavika Nair played the leading lady opposite Santosh Sobhan in the upcoming family entertainer Anni Manchi Sakunamule directed by Nandini Reddy under the banner of Swapna Cinema. The actress interacted with the media to share her experiences of working for the movie.
Malavika Nair who previously appeared in soft roles will be seen in a stubborn role in Anni Manchi Sakunamule. “My character in the movie is a courageous one. She wants everything to be in her hands.”
The actress affirms her character to have similarities with a real life character. “My character Anandi in ‘Yevade Subrahmanyam is close to producer Priyanka. She is a hippie, free flowing person. Swapna is very organized which is very close to my character in the movie.”
Malavika says she knows the meaning of the title Anni Manchi Sakunamule. “It is pronounced almost the same way in Malayalam too. There is a positivity in Nandini garu’s film titles. She told this story two years ago. It’s an excellent story with good twists and turns.”
Anni Manchi Sakunamule is gearing up for release on May 18th.
