Just right after Agent’s disaster result, the producers in a rush released the stills of Mega Star Chiranjeevi from Bhola Shankar. Incidentally, Bhola Shankar is also bankrolled by Anil Sunkara. This is like applying an ointment for the wounds of the Agent to distributors and buyers who are expected to lose heavily.

Certainly, Agent’s debacle is very costly and going to have a huge impact on Anil Sunkara and his upcoming productions. It is not easy to overcome such a disaster as trade is in no mood to accept 90 percent losses. After Acharya’s disaster, the trade and makers went through a lot of discussions. Same is the case with Puri and Vijay’s Liger.

However, Anil Sunkara being a prolific maker and having Chiranjeevi’s Bhola Shankar in hand is a big relief. We have to wait and see how Anil would overcome this phase since he himself openly admitted that it is a costly mistake.

Meanwhile, Chiru’s Bhola Shankar is an official remake of Vedhalam and directed by Meher Ramesh. It is being made with a whopping budget with some changes to the original. Let’s wait and see, what’s in store.
