These are the days when the makers of a flop film either ignore the result of the movie by celebrating the successful event the same day or just avoid the media for a good number of days. But a producer who made the recent disaster Agent is praised for his honesty and frankness. And in the same way, a hero is called a gentleman for his honesty in movie promotions. They are Anil Sunkara and Naga Chaitanya.
Producer Anil Sunkara is back in business with his next movie Ooru Peru Bhairavakona. During the promotion of this movie, Anil Sunkara was asked about the result of Agent and how he could confidently say the movie would become a success. Anil Sunkara’s reply was not just mature but also sensible which one can’t deny.
Anil said that any filmmakers would find the minuses of a film when they watch it for the first time and they will slowly start believing it when it gets closer to the release date and after the said flaws are corrected. He said the makers would trust their project at one point and it is the key to any field to thrive in it. When there are producers out there who boast about their collections for a flop film, Anil Sunkara’s genuine acknowledgment of Agent’s verdict is laudable.
On the other side, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is busy promoting his movie ‘Custody’. During a recent interview, Naga Chaitanya frankly said that no matter how many colleges or malls you visit and how much you promote a movie, all that matters is the teaser, trailer, and songs that could impress the moviegoers.
One has to promote a movie like it is a real gem coming to screens very soon. But along with promoting his movie, Naga Chaitanya’s sincere opinion regarding the promotions is being lauded. The folks on social media opine that Chay is slowly becoming Nag with his straightforward and unfiltered words.
