There’s a lot of buzz surrounding the upcoming Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas movie. This highly anticipated movie has the main cast supplemented with talented comedians, character actors, and leading ladies Pooja Hegde and Sree Leela. Although filming was scheduled to start in April and May, it had to be put on hold due to the unavailability of certain actors. There were also reports that Mahesh Babu wasn’t entirely satisfied with the draft prepared by Trivikram. Nevertheless, it is said that SSMB28 will be a family entertainer featuring multiple characters’ interacting in a few scenes at once. Fortunately for fans everywhere, it looks like director Trivikram has managed to solve this scheduling issue since filming is now expected to resume when Mahesh returns from his break on May 16th or most likely by June’s first week. This much-anticipated flick will release on Sankranthi 2024 (New Year) in Telugu, Tamil Kannada and Malayalam!
Superstar’s last two movies, Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Sarileru Neekevvaru both had a two-year gap between filming. Now his SSMB28 is set to take another two years, with one already gone, until Sankranthi 2024. Fans are showing disappointment at the long wait and asking the superstar to take on more projects, as younger stars already manage to complete 2-3 movies in a year including Raviteja.
