The first look poster and pre-teaser of Tamil film Vinodhaya Sitam’s remake “Bro” was out other day and it amazed Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s fans. Though there are plagiarism allegations on the score composed by SS Thaman, it is Pawan’s pure persona that actually rang a bell with movie lovers. But here’s the catch.
In fact, for someone who has watched the original, it is clearly known that the role being played by Pawan Kalyan will be not more than 30 mins in the movie. It is like the role of Lord Krishna who played in the film Gopala Gopala, and the one played by Venkatesh in Vishwak Sen’s Ori Devuda. Though hero Sai Dharam Tej, who is the actual main lead of the film has recently scored a blockbuster with Virupaksha, somehow, the makers are promoting the movie in the name of PK only.
Some say that as the film is being co-produced by Trivikram unofficially, while he is taking credit only for the screenplay-dialogues of the movie. Perhaps that is the reason Pawan is being promoted as the front face of the film, though everyone knows the kind of impact that his mere presence alone will bring to a film. However, it being a Sai Dharam Tej film, his first look would have made more sense, is what critics feel.
