In the film industry, the shelf life of an actress is very less. In whatever time they have, the female actors must up their game, enter the next league, attain stardom, work with big heroes, and leave an impact. Oftentimes, not every actress becomes successful but a few try to create their mark through their performances. Anupama Parameswaran is one such actress with a lot of talent and versatility.
Recently, the actress responded gracefully to a netizen’s troll suggesting that she lacks big films and is not a “big heroine.” In her reply, she humbly stated that she considers herself an actress rather than just a heroine.
The netizen wrote, “No bigger movies. For me, she is not a heroine material.”
However, the actress read this comment and has given a subtle yet strong reply.
In her response, Anupama wrote, “Correcteee Anna, Not the heroine type, I am the actor type” and added a smiley emoji.
Anupama’s career kickstarted with the critically acclaimed Malayalam film “Premam,” where she portrayed the innocent Mary George and won hearts with her natural performance. Since then, she has showcased her versatility by seamlessly transitioning between different languages and film industries.
Right now, the actress is working on Tillu Square. She is also a part of Ravi Teja’s Eagle, Mareechika, and an upcoming film, directed by Praveen Kandregula of Cinema Bandi fame. She is also working on two Malayalam films and a Tamil film.
