In the last couple of weeks, director Om Raut has spent lots of time in post-production of the film Adipurush which features Superstar Prabhas as Lord Rama. While he has taken care of the mediocre VFX by pushing the release date from January 2023 to June 16th, and worked out the quality of the film, he has also boasted a lot about this Imax print of the movie. But here’s the twist.
Even after Om Raut working out very hard to bring out the IMAX version of Adipurush, it is being heard that the print is not ready yet. At the same time, the stereoscopic 3D conversion of the movie is said to be getting delayed, and hence the Imax version release and the 3D version release of the film are not happening right now. Even the multiplex owners are said to have got shocked by this, and currently, bookings are being opened only for the 2D version of the film.
Coming to Telugu states, the distributors of the movie are awaiting a government clearance regarding the ticket hike, and hence the bookings are not opened on any portals. Once the hike gets approved, then the bookings will be opened both online and at the ticket counters.
