For the past one day, Tollywood is abuzz with the news of Spy postponement and the ongoing rift between the hero and producer. This suddenly created tremors across the trade and distributors. Also, the whole confusion about Spy release may turn into advantage for other films that are waiting for a proper release date and theatres.
The makers of Sree Vishnu’s Samajavaragamana announced 29th June as the release date. On the other hand, Karthikeya’s Bedurulanka 2012 is also gearing up to announce 29th June as the release date.
While one is an out-and-out hilarious film, the other one is a thriller laced with different humour. Both the films targeting audiences of different tastes. With the sudden entry of Samajavaragamana and Bedurulanka into the scene, distributors of Spy are mounting pressure.
With this, the producers of Spy want to iron out the issues and release Spy on the announced date. They are confident of releasing the film in all 5 languages simultaneously as per the schedule. Let’s wait and see what happens.
