Samantha Ruth Prabhu, is one of the rare celebrities who simultaneously acknowledges and believes in two religions. Recently, she was spotted practicing various homams, poojas and japams in Hyderabad while wearing a ‘rudraksha japa mala.’ She has now showcased her spirituality by embracing another side of it as well.
During her visit to the renowned Church of Saint Sava in Belgrade, Samantha not only lit a candle and prayed for hours but also penned an emotional note while sharing pictures. In it, she details her health diagnosis, food habits, mental well-being, and professional setbacks from the past year before discussing her current outlook. The experience was profound for Samantha as she found solace in this religious landmark dedicated to the founder of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
Talking further, she added more about the last year’s time: “A year that has taught me that not everything goes your way all the time. And more importantly, that it’s ok when it doesn’t. That I must control the controllables, let go off the rest, and keep moving forward one step at a time”.
More importantly, some fans might focus on the point where Samantha stated that she doesn’t want to tumble in the past, as they were hurt more with the news of her divorce before the myositis news stumped them. Anyway, to see Samantha praying at a church, reminds many of her looks and times from the movie Ye Maya Chesave.
Currently, she is shooting for Citadel’s Indian version in Serbia along with Varun Dhawan, while recently she wrapped a song-shoot opposite Vijay Devarakonda in Turkey for Siva Nirvana’s Kushi.
