Even after Saaho and Radhe Shyam the two Box Office duds, Prabhas proved he is one of the biggest crowd-pullers of Indian Cinema as Adipurush emerged as the highest opener post Covid pandemic.
Adipurush opened to earth-shattering records all over. Barring some pre-release events, Prabhas hasn’t given any interviews or done exclusive promotions on TV shows or YouTube. Yet, Adipurush managed to stand above the biggest films like Pathaan. This shows that Prabhas stardom is pretty intact even after flops like Saaho and Radhe Shyam.
Interestingly, Prabhas has bagged a rare record. He has three films with over Rs 100 crore Day 1 gross – Baahubali 2, Saaho and Adipurush. This is an outstanding feat. A South hero scoring this huge achievement in such a short time is a Herculean task.
Despite some mixed talk and heavy trolling online, Adipurush numbers and footfalls are strong. This is only possible for a star who is above the talk. It is proved that his charisma is intact and he has penetrated into masses. Some credit certainly goes to SS Rajamouli and magnum opus Baahubali.
Meanwhile, Prabhas upcoming line-up is quite impressive. He has Prasanth Neel’s Salaar, Nag Ashwin’s Project K and he has Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit and has Maruti’s horror-comedy. If Prabhas continues his success streak, there is no stopping for him.
