Usually, we see a lot of ghost-writers working for Tollywood’s star directors for their writing assignments. But now, there are some ghost-directors who are actually helping their directors big time.
The twist in the tale is that these ghost directors are actually star heroes and the names of Megastar Chiranjeevi, Jr NTR and Nani are topping up the charts.
Megastar Chiranjeevi’s next is Bholaa Shankar which is being directed by Meher Ramesh who stopped filmmaking almost a decade ago. Reportedly Chiru is said to be looking into every single aspect of the movie on the set, in the script and during post-production also, as if he is the ghost director of the project.
This is because, Acharya left a huge shock for Chiru, while Waltair Veerayya worked out well due to his excessive input. That’s the reason he is said to be taking care of it.
Similarly, Koratala Siva is fresh from the flop show of Acharya and meanwhile, Jr NTR scaled to heights with the super success of RRR.
To keep his global star image at the pinnacle, Tarak is said to be taking care of every single aspect of Devara. He’s not involved in the production design, but also looking after the budget-control aspects of the project too. Also, he is looking into every single shot and keeping a tab on the output always, they say.
At the same time, Nani has picked yet another newcomer after Dasara and his #Nani30 happens to be a family drama. For that reason, he is said to be guiding the fresh director a lot like a ‘directorial supervisor’ on the sets of the movie. While we can call these stars as ghost-directors, surely they are the ones who are taking care of the product as any under-performance is going to affect their image big time.
