Director Prashant Varma’s Hanuman attracted the spotlight post-Adipurush’s release. Due to the cartoonish VFX and objectionable characterizations, Adipurush turned a center for huge criticism. Hanuman also has a Lord Hanuman link and as many as 1600 VFX shots. After a good number of postponements, Hanuman is gearing up to announce a new release date.
In the latest update, Hanuman makers said they will announce the new release date tomorrow at 10:08 AM. Meanwhile, the reports say that Hanuman has been pushed to Sankranthi 2024 and this date will be fixed and final.
Earlier, Hanuman was heard to be planning for an August 25th release which was moved from May 12th. They say that the extensive VFX work is delaying the movie and after Adipurush got trolled, Hanuman appears to have become more cautious about the output.
Responding to the questions about ‘Hanuman’ picturization, Prashanth Varma denied all these rumors about Hanuman’s looks. He said that they didn’t take the risk of modernizing Hanuman’s character. He stated that Hanuman showcases Anjaneya as we know him since childhood. He further added that his team worked on Hanuman’s character sketch for more than a year.
