Prabhas’ Salaar took the internet by storm since yesterday. While fans got what they want, the fact remains strong that the teaser disappointed many. Amid the teaser excitement, the fans have been going a step ahead and are making theories around Salaar.
The main motive behind these theories is to convince themselves that Salaar is very much the crossover of KGF or at least from the Prashant Neel Universe which later links both the films. The fan theories on Twitter gained weight as some of them really got into the details to make their versions relevant and most of them appear to be convincing.
Let us look at some of them.
In one of the common observations by Prabhas fans, the military bases from both the films have the same numbers in system wings. This is considered as one of the biggest hints that Salaar happens around the same timeline with KGF.
In the post credits scene of KGF after Rocky’s death, the military base is shown with KGF 3 announcement. Now Prabhas’ Salaar teaser resembles the background. Also the military troops look similar in both the films.
Prabhas’ costumes, makeover and the setting of the movie definitely take us to the world of KGF.
Rocky sends a fax to the Navy before they take on him and what was there in it. The KGF had a military base until 2014 according to KGF reference in 2018 timeline, what if Salaar is from the military base.
Apart from these, there are many points linking the US Army vehicles in base camp of Salaar to Rocky Bhai’s Africa visit, US Interpol arriving to India for Rocky etc. Many are even predicting the Part 2 of Salaar to happen in South America with Rocky and Salaar together.
Salaar is clearly not the rehash of Prashant Neel’s Ugram.
In one of the old theories, Eeswari Rao’s son gets killed in KGF and the face was never shown. May opine that the boy grows up to become Salaar. But Prashant Neel reportedly denied this.
Well, Prashant Neel and Prabhas together raises the hype to many levels high and it has to be seen if the movie release on September 28 lives upto the hype.
