In the wake of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan calling AP CM YS Jagan all names, and politically giving him no space with his fact-backed comments, many are wondering if the government would allow the actor’s upcoming films like BRO to release smoothly.
However, contrary to the talk in film circles that producers of Pawan Kalyan’s films are worried about the political blasting of YS Jagan by the Janasena chief, it looks like most of them are not even worrying about it.
There are two reasons behind this.
Pawan and his nephew Sai Dharam Tej’s first coming together, Bro, is hitting cinemas on July 28th at a time when Janasena is all politically charged up and YSRC sleuths are quite unhappy with the way Janasenani is targeting them. That brings us to the talk that his films might face the ire of the ruling party as it happened earlier, but then, such instances might not repeat now. The first reason is that, if YS Jagan led AP Government continues to trouble Pawan Kalyan’s movies like they did for Vakeel Saab earlier, surely that will push the ruling party into more trouble. That will come out in a way that YSRC is quite worried about Pawan Kalyan’s rise. So they may not indulge in such practices through any legal ways using the bureaucrats and authorities.
The second reason is that Pawan Kalyan’s movies are already fetching hefty prices from the OTT arena, and with Telangana rights as well as other satellite sales, the producers can recover the mammoth investment they are making on his movies. So they wouldn’t worry much about the AP collections, while local distributors and exhibitors might be getting tensed about it. Anyway, we have to wait for the movie’s release to find out what is likely to happen to Bro in the first place.
