Shankar To Ditch Ranveer Singh Again?

Maverick filmmaker Shankar is busy with Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2, and Ram Charan’s Game Changer. While the former is gearing up for release towards the end of this year, the latter may arrive in theatres next summer.

Besides these movies, Shankar has another project with Ranveer Singh in the pipeline. It was announced long back. The makers also stated that it is an official remake of Shankar’s 2005 blockbuster, Aparichitudu. Initially, Shankar wanted to start it after finishing Game Changer. In the meantime, the court had ordered him to complete his delayed film Indian 2 as well. In that way, Aparichitudu’s Hindi remake took a back seat.

The latest Kollywood reports stated that Shankar plans to collaborate with Thalapathy Vijay soon. He recently narrated a storyline to Vijay, who also liked it. Recently, Vijay wrapped up his portions for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Leo. He will soon start his next film with Venkat Prabhu. If all goes well, he may start Shankar’s project after finishing that film.

If that is the case, Ranveer’s film may get delayed once again. Or will Shankar do Ranveer’s film first and move on to Vijay’s project later? We have to wait and see.
