#Baby: Different Age Groups Different Opinions!

Published by

This small film has pulled off a mega miracle effectively at the box office witnessing housefuls even in its second weekend, as Sai Rajesh directorial “Baby” is racing ahead to collect more than ₹30+ crores ‘share’ from the box office quite effortlessly. And that brings us to the discussion, how did the film that fetched mixed reviews initially has turned out into this massive blockbuster? Here goes a talk.

Of course, Baby got different types of opinions owing to the different age groups of people who watched it. Apparently, the 50+ aged folks from both the general audience and media felt that the movie is full of cuss words and sleazy scenes as there is a tectonic shift in terms of content portrayal for these guys. They are accustomed to watching cool breezy and dramatic stuff on the screen, but not this OTT kind of sleazy and shocking content.

At the same time guys and girls aged over 40 have appreciated the film for its bold content but felt that there is no soul in it. From their perspective, as they are in mid-life mode already, surely it is a valid point.

Then came the 30+ brigade are ‘Okay’ with the movie. But the real thing happened with the 18-25 folks, who are right now in love affairs, breakups, and all kinds of treatments shown inside the movie. They have unfurled a red carpet for the film as the movie reflected their own life crises, insecurities, fears and trauma.

That way, each age group contributed different opinions on the movie, but finally with movie lovers between 18-25 being the most theatre-going audience, surely the film has achieved this massive money-collector feat. What ever the opinions, Baby stands as a Blockbuster at theatres.
