Other day, the much awaited trailer of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s “Bhola Shankar” got out and it received flak from those movie lovers who are expecting something bigger and better from the matinee idol. While picking up a commercial mass film is fine, what went wrong with the trailer of Bholaa Shankar that received criticism from movie lovers is something worth discussing.
A routine trailer with routine stuff wouldn’t excite any though Chiru has effectively used the references, dialogues and songs of Ram Charan and Pawan Kalyan throughout. Even if the film is routine, Trivikram and Pawan Kalyan have greatly stylized Bheemla Nayak with sound and visuals, and that punch is missing in the trailer of “Bhola Shankar” if we have to make a comment. Also, Megastar’s uneasy Telangana slang, some routine punches, over the board scenes that sounded repetitive and routine have not impressed serious film lovers but fans are happy about it.
Also, youngster Mahati Swara Sagar who happens to be BGM superstar Manisharma’s son hasn’t impressed with his work in the teaser in a big way. All these factors contributed to the criticism of Bholaa Shankar trailer, but then, that’s not new for Megastar.
