Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej’s BRO has attracted mixed talk all over. The references from Pawan Kalyan’s old movies excited the fans for some time but ended up being too much by the end. The references and nostalgia obviously made the audience sit in the theaters, but it could not make the narrative any better.
Though the director is Samuthirakani, there is not much of a discussion about him on social media regarding BRO output. It is all about Trivikram’s handling the project and now Twitter is divided into Pro Trivikram Vs Anti Trivikram.
Many were seen blaming Trivikram for too many references to Pawan Kalyan from his old films, but the main criticism focused on the ‘prasa’ one-liners from him. Movie lovers are seen pointing out the unimpressive rhyming dialogues like ‘Mark – landmark – Denmark’, and ‘Shoe sole – Soul’. They are even tagging Mahesh Babu’s fans and asking them to worry about more ‘Beedi – 3D’ type one-liners in Guntur Kaaram.
Meanwhile, the fans of Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram who actually liked the movie are mentioning meaningful dialogues like ‘Bratikedi Chachedi Kuda Bhavitarala Kosame’ to counter the criticism. For now, BRO strictly remains for fans of Pawan Kalyan and it has to be seen if the audience manages to go beyond Pawan’s swag to connect to the actual emotion in the last 20 minutes.
