After announcing Hiranyakashyapa (where Rana is also expected to play the titular role), the actor announced a new production venture with Dulquer Salmaan in the lead.

The movie is a collaborative effort between Spirit Media, spearheaded by Rana Daggubati, and Wayfarer Films, led by Dulquer Salmaan, promising a captivating multi-language cinematic experience.
Rana Daggubati revealed that ‘Kaantha’ is undeniably a project of exceptional caliber. He expressed his joy in being a part of this venture alongside the talented director Selvamani Selvaraj. Dulquer Salmaan is set to portray a never-before-seen role in this film, adding to the anticipation surrounding ‘Kaantha.’
Rana also have a couple of other projects in his kitty, as a producer and the trend says that it takes some more time for the fans to see him make an acting comeback.
