‘BRO’ Promotions: Thanks To YSRCP!

Published by

Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Bro’ clearly experienced a significant drop in collections after the initial weekend. Despite a strong opening and impressive weekend collections, the film’s performance declined dramatically on Monday, and the trend continued over the next few days. While dropping collections after the weekend is normal for movies, the sharp decline is a cause for concern.

The film could have benefited from some promotional support at this crucial time, but Pawan Kalyan is not likely to engage in promotional activities. While Saidharam Tej is trying to promote the film, it seems his efforts alone might not be sufficient.

Moreover, the movie’s heroines maintain a low profile, further limiting promotional activities.

However, in an interesting turn of events, the ruling party in Andhra Pradesh, YSR Congress Party (YCP), has actively supported the movie.

YCP leaders, including Minister Ambati Rambabu, have targeted the film in press meetings, creating media coverage and discussions about the movie. Minister Rambabu is even planning to take the issue to Delhi and discuss ‘Bro’s financial affairs with ED officials, potentially elevating the discussion to a national level.

The YCP social media have also joined in the support, posting about ‘Bro’ on official party handles, albeit with a negative tone. It seems that YCP’s actions have inadvertently promoted the film significantly and contributed to keeping it in the news for a few days.

While it might be an unexpected turn of events, the film team could be grateful to YCP for the increased promotion, which could help boost weekend collections for ‘Bro’.

As the weekend approaches, the film’s performance during this time will be critical in determining its overall success.

Good or Bad – Any promotion will bring buzz to the films, especially those made with big stars. In that way, if BRO is gaining buzz, all thanks to YSRCP leaders.
