Janasenani Pawan Kalyan has broken his silence on the controversy surrounding his movie “BRO,” which has been making waves in Andhra Pradesh politics. The film has drawn the ire of the ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) due to certain dialogues and scenes allegedly targeting Chief Minister YS Jagan Reddy and Minister Ambati Rambabu.
Addressing the situation, Pawan Kalyan stated that some individuals try diverting the focus by engaging in political debates and unnecessary arguments. He urged Janasena leaders to maintain a higher standard of discourse and refrain from engaging in personal attacks. Instead, he emphasized that discussions should revolve around policies and issues affecting the state and its people.
Pawan Kalyan further clarified that he has willingly distanced himself from the movie to focus on his political commitments. He urged his party members not to fall into the trap of provocation and to conduct themselves with dignity.
Expressing his concerns about the current government’s actions, Pawan accused the party of exploiting human resources and questioned its ability to govern effectively. The actor-politician also emphasized his commitment to Janasena and the vision of forming a government in the future.
Pawan also stated that the party would adopt a new system for candidate selection based on local issues, opinions, and survey reports. Speaking about the ongoing Varahi Yatra in Visakhapatnam, Pawan Kalyan expressed his satisfaction with the response from the people.
