Spandana’s untimely death news has become a talking point. Spandana Vijay Raghav died on Monday morning in Thailand’s Bangkok reportedly due to cardiac arrest. She was 42-year-old. Spanadana is married to the popular Kannada actor Vijay Raghavendra. Her sudden and untimely demise left her family, friends and relatives in shock.
After performing post mortem in Bangkok, her mortal remains have been brought to Bengaluru today to perform her last rites. Both her husband and father have accompanied Spandana’s mortal remains.
Spandana hailed from an influential family in Karnataka . She married Vijay Raghav in 2007 after they fell in love. The couple has two children – son Shourya and daughter. Spandana briefly acted in the 2016 film Apoorva, alongside V Ravichandran. She also produced her husband Vijay Raghav’s movies. Spandana was daughter of retired ACP BK Shivaram who is familiar in the police department. Her uncle is former MP and sitting MLC BK Hariprasad, brother of BK Shivaram. Vijay Raghav is cousin to superstar Puneeth Rajkumar who died in 2021 following a heart-attack.
Spandana’s brother, Rakshith Shivaram, holds a prominent position as a state general of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC). Couple of days ago, Spandana and husband Vijay Raghav met Deputy CM and KPCC chief DK Shivkumar and shared a picture on their social media.
As rumours about Spandana’s death are being circulated on social media, uncle Hariprasad appealed to not spread any rumours in this hour of grief. Learning about the news, visitors arrived in large numbers at BK Shivaram’s house. The family appealed to everyone to give them privacy and space during the hour of grief.
