Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s comments at Waltair Veerayya 200 days event has stirred controversy. Chiru criticised politicians to rather focus on the public issues such as AP Special Category Status, Projects, jobs and employment opportunities and filling the hunger of the poor. He asked why the political leaders are raising concerns over the remuneration of the film actors. Chiru said, “Why use a powerful weapon against a sparrow?” (Pichuka Meeda Brahmastram Deniki?).
Now, ex minister Kodali Nani came down heavily against these comments. He referred Chiru as “Pakodigallu”, albeit not taking Chiru’s name directly. Kodali in his usual tone, said, “Some Pakodigallu are giving free advises to the government on how to run and how to work. They should tell their own Pakodigallu to keep politics aside and advise them to focus on their films, acting, fights and dances. Telugu Film Industry has so many Pakodigallu,” commented Kodali Nani. Nani’s comments are directly hitting out at Chiru as these remarks came exactly a day after Chiru’s comments at Waltair Veerayya event went viral.
In the same context, Perni Nani was asked to react on Chiru’s comments about remunerations and Special status. The YCP leader says he is one of the biggest fans of Chiru yet he emphasizes that the distance between Hyderabad filmnagar to Amaravathi Secretariat is same as the distance between Secreataiat to film Nagar.
Nani further refering to Pruthvi’s character in BRO said, ‘No political leader ever commented on Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, NTR, Prabhas or any hero in Chiru’s family. But a politician here created a character that was not in the original film and not related to the story only to critisize the another polticial leader. They have to face the consequences for such acts.’
All this is related to Pawan Kalyan’s Bro. Minister Ambati Rambabu fired on Pawan Kalyan and his remuneration for the film. He said he would lodge a complaint against Pawan’s remuneration and the alleged involvement of “black money” in the film’s production. Ambati even approached the central agencies against Pawan and the Bro makers. Chiru’s comments are indirectly at leaders who are targeting the film industry. Now, Nani’s counter is taken seriously by mega compound and mega fans. By dragging Chiru into this whole issue, YCP and Kodali Nani seems to have stirred the hornet’s nest. We have to see whether a full stop would be put or not.
