In his career spanning over decades, Maaro, starring Nithiin, is the only Telugu film he directed.
Siddique’s journey in cinema began with his directorial debut alongside Lal, another accomplished filmmaker. Their first film, “Ramji Rao Speaking,” released in 1989, instantly became a classic and set the stage for their collaborative success. The comedy gem remains a beloved milestone in Malayalam cinema, renowned for its humor and relatable characters.
One of Siddique’s notable contributions to the industry was his role in creating the iconic comedy “Ramji Rao Speaking,” which later inspired the Hindi blockbuster “Hera Pheri.”
Siddique’s foray into Bollywood came with the Salman Khan-starrer “Bodyguard,” where he showcased his directorial prowess on the larger stage. The film’s success marked a significant milestone in his career.
