One of the most discussed things when the news of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s suggestion to keep Kolkata as a backdrop for Vedalam remake Bholaa Shankar broke out if the makers are going to remix the song “Ramma Chilkamma” from Chudlani Vundi. It has many connections and would have got terrific appreciation as well if Chiru remixed it now, but here goes the twist.
Apparently, director Meher Ramesh revealed to Gulte.com that they have never thought of remixing Chudalani Vundi movie’s Raamma Chilakamma song and have got other best tunes from music director Mahati Swara Sagar. But the fact is that there was a strong buzz earlier that they have shot a dance sequence for this remix version but the director denied it now. As Kolkata backdrop worked out a lot for Chiru in Choodalani Vundi, and with Mahati Sagar’s father Mani Sharma being the composer of Ramma Chilakamma, many thought that Megastar would be surely remixing it.
On the other hand, some reports are indicating that there is a small scene in the movie where the whole of Chiru and his comedian gang will dance in ecstasy for Ramma Chilakamma song. Some reports indicated that Chiru didn’t like the remix, so he got the odd one picked out. Well, whether this remix thing is hidden or it is denied by Chiranjeevi, we will know only on August 11th.
