The Mega fans were eager to look out for a mass movie season, and two of the films from Mega Heroes, in a span, were out in theatres already. Starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role, BRO hit the screens last month. Starring Megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead role, Bholaa Shankar hit the screens the other day. Both BRO and Bholaa could not satisfy the fans’ expectations.
So now, it is all over to Mega Prince Varun Tej, who will be coming up with Gandeevadhari Arjuna.
From the beginning, a lack of proper buzz surrounding these films has become a cause for concern among fans and audiences alike.
“Bro” and “Bhola Shankar” are remakes of successful Tamil films. Many people have already seen the original versions, which diminished the element of surprise and novelty. The promotional content released for “Bhola Shankar” has also failed to generate significant excitement.
“Bro” also faced challenges in creating buzz. Fans knew that it was not a typical Pawan Kalyan film, and those who had seen the Tamil version already knew the story and Pawan’s character arc.
“Adi Kesava,” starring Vaishnav Tej, was supposed to hit the screens, but it got postponed, clearing the way for one more film starring Mega Hero getting ready for the fans.
Varun Tej’s previous solo film, “Gani,” was a commercial failure, and director Praveen Sattaru’s last movie, “Ghost,” also did not fare well. Their collaboration in “Gandhivadhari Arjuna” has not yet captured the audience’s attention, as there has been a lack of engaging promotional content. The movie is heading for a release on 25th August.
The lack of proper buzz surrounding the Mega films did not bring a big treat for the fans. So, it is all over to Varun Tej now, and we have to see if he can taste the success and satisfy the hunger of all the Mega fans.
