All of a sudden, a distributor named Vizag Satish shot to fame after he went to court to stall the release of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s “Bholaa Shankar”, accusing producer Anil Sunkara owes him money for an agreement he signed earlier during the times of “Agent”. However Court has dismissed that petition and much details about the settlement later on are not known. But here goes the twist.
While the case of Vizag Satish is curious as Anil Sunkara’s team maintained that the distributor went to Court with forged documents of a fake agreement, where the Bholaa Shankar maker is said to have agreed to compensate a sum of few crores the distributor paid as an advance to own “Agent” rights earlier. Whatever the case may be, currently the buzz has that, Telugu Film Producers Guild which has Dil Raju heading it, is said to have banned Vizag Satish from buying films.
Of course, there are many such instances earlier in Tollywood where certain technicians, actors, producers and even distributors are banned for a certain period of time for violating the rules. But with Dil Raju, an ace distributor first, heading the Guild, none expect that another distributor will be axed first. We have to see how Vizag Satish responds to this.
