Besides shattering numerous box office records across the globe, SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘Baahubali franchise set new benchmarks in different categories which were unheard of for any Indian film till then. Among the many rare achievements and other feats clinched by the two crowd-pleasing epics, one of the biggest honours was the screening of Baahubali: The Beginning at the renowned amphitheatre Royal Albert Hall in London’
In October 2019, Baahubali: The Beginning became the first ever non-English film to have a special screening at the Royal Albert Hall since its inauguration 148 years ago. The core team of Baahubali attended this show and received a standing ovation at the end. The pictures and videos from that epic moment went viral on social media platforms all over that time. Film’s composer MM Keeravani and his team performed a live rendition which was witnessed by thousands of spectators.
Now, it is time for an encore. Baahubali: The Beginning will soon be screened at the Stavanger Opera House in Norway on August 18th. This special screening will have a live performance by Stavanger Symphony Orchestra.
An ecstatic SS Rajamouli tweeted this big news. He said ‘ Can’t forget the magical screening of #Baahubali: The Beginning at the Royal Albert Hall in London, which is still stuck in my eyes.
And now we are excited for another splendid Film in Concert screening of Baahubali-1 in Norway at Stavanger Opera House on August 18th, featuring a performance by the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra.
It seems like the Baahubali juggernaut continues to make its presence felt even six years after the release of the second part. Rajamouli and producer Shobu Yarlaggadda are expected to attend this screening. There is no news yet on who will accompany them.
